This album was recorded in 2012 in Maui with Craig Soderman. Asheya performs both guitar and vocals. Two of the songs were written in 2010 & 2012 (sometimes love and burn it all down) while the other two songs were written in 2000.

Sister Song

Sister Song was recorded as part of the Tether, Hooks, and Velcro album through Yukon Women in Music in 2008. Asheya was 8 months pregnant with her second child during the recording.

Here

Asheya wrote songs for each of her children while she was pregnant and after each child was born (2006, 2008, 2009). These songs were recorded with David Cunningham in 2014 as part of a project for donation to the SmartMom crowdfunding campaign. The other three songs will be added as they are recorded.

This album was written and recorded in one session in 2018 using a voice recorder on a Google Pixel 2. Asheya had a neck injury and was lying down smoking cannabis, when she realized that even though she couldn't be upright to play music or use the computer to work on anything, she could record just her voice on her phone. This is a recording of each song as it was created.
